The story behind them

In Amerindian times, the conch shell (Lambi) was used to announce the arrival of a canoe or to call for help at sea.
Thus, in the 18th century, this shell became a symbol of fertility and also of freedom.

As mother-of-pearl is an organic material, it is strongly advised not to put it in contact with aggressive products such as perfumes or shower gels.
