The story behind it

During a seminar at my previous job, the organizers had planned a hot air balloon flight as a surprise activity.
What you should know is that I have a panic fear of heights; crossing a glass walkway, being too close to a cliff or a ledge is a real ordeal for me. So, at the prospect of a hot air balloon flight, it was panic on board!!!
And yet, that day, I don't know by what miracle I still managed to find the strength to get into that basket.

I designed this necklace to remind myself of that day when I managed to overcome my fear by gaining height.

The little story

Swallows used to nest every year at my uncle's house.
Their delicacy and lightness inspired this motif in me

As mother-of-pearl is an organic material, it is strongly advised not to put it in contact with aggressive products such as perfumes or shower gels.

And as with all our other jewellery, it is strongly advised not to leave your curls in prolonged contact with water.
